Chianti Classico DOCG £16.50

A very traditional Chianti with a good colour. It has warm
attractive fruit with a tarry richness. A hint of cherries makes
the bouquet very appealing. The palate is dry with a soft, ripe
delicate warmth of flavour. Mature peppery hints with a good
balance of tannins, acidity and fruit. A lovely mature Chianti
that is drinking beautifully. Superb stuff.

Region: Puglia. Grape: Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera.
Elegant with a lovely deep colour, somewhere between
violet and black. Aromas of dried plum and cherry jam,
with excellent structure and finish.

Intense ruby red in colour, with a hint of wild berry and
spice. Good body and noble tannins.

A superb red. This wine has intense aromas with notes of ripe
berries and well integrated oak. Good structure on the palate,
which is soft, harmonious with good tannins and great length.

Enchanting notes of red fruit, with a clean finish, with
a slight bitter almond tone.

An un-oaked Nero d’Avola allowing the cherry nose and
palate to force themselves to the front. Rich and decently
poised between intensity and drinkability.

Winner in its category in the ‘Decanter Magazine’. Dry and
velvety with a rounded taste and full body. A wine made by
passing young Valpolicella over the dried Amarone grapes

Superb deep colour, intensely perfumed with raspberry and
violet. Concentrated sweet fruit lead to a firm ripe mouthful
of soft red fruit flavours.
Montezovo - Ca’ Linverno Rosso Veronese IGT £25.00
Region: Veneto. Grape: Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara.
A masterpiece of full bodied taste. Very smooth and
charming aroma, fantastic with roasted meats, game and
cheeses. This wine has very limited production because of
the way it is made. The Amarone grapes are picked and
left on bamboo racks for a month. The Ca’ Linverno grapes
are left on the vines for a further month which makes
the process very risky as changes in the weather could
cause the loss of the harvest.

Intense ruby red in colour with violet reflections. It has
intense fruity aromas, with hints of cherry, raspberry,
blackcurrant and spicy overtones.

Full bodied and fruity. This wine drinks well with pasta
and roasted or grilled meats.

Dark dense colour with a superb bouquet coming out of
the glass. Sensations of sweetness, liquorice and spices, very
heady. Huge wine on palate with a rich, ripe and very
concentrated taste. Beautifully balanced, very well made
with poise and elegance. A finish that just goes on and on.
Barolo DOCG £35.00
Region: Piemonte. Grape: Nebbiola.
Expertly matured in oak barrels, the very dark ruby red
colour introduces aromas in which the oak and dense fruit are
perfectly blended. Full bodied, intense with a full dry taste.

Region: Veneto. Grape: Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara.
Ruby red in colour and full bodied. Soft, warm flavours of
almonds, mature plums, drying cherries combined with the
